The comic:

Pluggers are delusional. They're Pluggers, which automatically makes them failures! I'm surprised they're willing to admit that life isn't perfect.

Okay, this makes no g-d sense. Help!

There's no way a plugger buys fancy multi-speed bike. Instead they would have a cartoon with the caption that pluggers only have one-speed bicycles showing a hugely obese plugger pushing a bike that has two flat tires. Plus I thought pluggers wore "USA #1" shirts and buy all their stuff at Wal-Mart even though all the cheap crap comes from China.

Since there is no such thing as a 26-speed bicycle it appears that this plugger has been taken in by a scam on Ebay or something showing once again that pluggers are retarded.

I think the caption would read better if it said, "Pluggers don't expect failure, they live it every day."

"Pluggers redefine failure."

Works on several levels.

By the way, this non-Plugger happens to live in a town (Eugene, OR, where I moved from Fairbanks, AK)that actually makes something - unlike many towns where Pluggers voted for people who would eliminate their jobs. My 2nd bike (I have not had a car in 17 years now), my collapsible, was made right here in town, and it's a little more expensive because of that. Maybe they're complaining that it's too pricey to "buy American," which it is.

The people they voted for because people like me are "socialists" destroyed economies of scale for the US, irreversibly. That's a term they would have learned about if they'd ever learned enough economics to know that it involves more than reflexively voting for Republicans or Libertarians or Blue Dogs.

Yay! I finally feel self-righteous enough to be a Plugger!

Bike Fridista, Marion? Sweet! Studied for the bar in Eugene one summer and spent a fair bit of time at the Friday factory. One of these days I'll get myself a Pocket Rocket....

"Pluggers do not ride bikes."
