Thursday April 21st

The comic:

Wow.

That is one bizarre and terrifying image.

Thursday July 15th

The comic:

Ew.

Front... tickle?

Back to Psych.

Friday February 12th

The comic:

I did not need to know this, I did not need to see this.

Off to get some brain bleach!

In the form of My Name is Khan this weekend! Yay!!!! Bollywood is like a million miles away from Pluggerville. I checked on my map.

Wednesday September 2nd

The comic:

That mini-chicken-thing is terrifying.

Tuesday March 31st

The comic:

When I could only see the top, I thought this was bad. As much as I love the RhinoMan, I don't love him nekkid.

Ewwwwww.

I pity the few people who see this over breakfast in the morning.

Saturday March 28th

The comic:

You're a Plugger if you gradually lose interest in your wife as you both age, and instead of having an affair with your kid's friend, you want to fuck their car.

Friday March 20th

The comic:

Oh damn.

I was about to be all happy for Pluggers, praising them for being so progressive by showing a woman playing sports and winning.

Then I saw the caption.

::facepalm::

I realize it's meant as a joke, and was sent in by a woman, but damn, I hate that phrase, hate the mindset that created it, ugh ugh all around.

Also, not to nitpick, but why would anyone marry a Plugger except for love, as would a trophy spouse? They aren't rich or good at anything but spouting cliches in an even folksier manner than the original.

Friday March 13th

The comic:

Because Pluggers go off the grid on a regular basis. Right.

If you're away from reliable prune juice, you're also away from clean bathrooms.

Do people normally take six packs with them on road trips? People who aren't college boys?

Saturday March 7th

The comic:

From that Simpsons episode where they go on that reality show, I think castor oil is some sort of fiber-type thing, in that it acts like fiber.

Great.

If you thought Thursday's smooch was gross, try to image what a Plugger performance is.

You're welcome.

Have a great weekend.

Thursday February 19th

The comic:

That ain't no newborn!

And I'm no expert, but I think something goes in near the top of the baby before you get to its bottom...?

EW EW EW EW EW EW

Also, WHAT THE FUCK? "careers as parents"? And where do non-Pluggers begin? Do we hire this out? Oh, right, we all have nannies.

CAREERS AS PARENTS? I get it, "start at the bottom" like in a job, got to make the halves match.

So wrong on so many levels.

And I see no one commented on my demented post yesterday. Arre, you couldn't do better with that mess?

Thursday, February 12, 2009

Friday February 13th

The comic:

Oh, augh! Thanks a lot! I really needed to see this.

And because he's a friggin dog using SCISSORS, he will require a plastic surgeon to repair his face in three, two, one.

And yes, all non-Pluggers get nose jobs. It's the only way to tell the two groups apart, really.

Thursday January 8th

The comic:

Pluggers read?

Pluggers can read and use the toilet? (Cheap shot, I know.)

I was able to salvage something yesterday (Pluggers have shitty friends but won't do anything to change the situation because they're Pluggers), but this.

What...

It's better to leave glasses on the frickin toilet rather than grab them on your way in? THOSE GO ON YOUR FACE!

Can't you at least put them on the sink?

I just... maybe it's because I don't wear reading glasses, I wear mine all the time, I never get these reading glasses things. I know they're code for "old," but most things are in this thing.

And what is the purpose of having that many reading glasses? I do know why you would have more than one, but since when do Pluggers, well, care that much about being prepared.

Oh, I just got it.

"Being prepared" = "boy scouts" = "American Institution"

And Pluggers consider themselves part of American Institutions.

Especially those that were good Back Then, before things got all weird.

Ok, I'm reaching.

Got anything better, aside from a cheap shot at the contributor's first name?

Tuesday December 30th

The comic:

I do remember this and being grossed out by this.

But I think there was more to my reaction, though I'll be damned if I know what it was.

Like why should it matter to his parents if he broke something at somebody else's house? That's why you take the little buggers to other people's houses in the first place, right?

Saturday, December 27, 2008

Saturday December 27th

The comic:

I definitely remember this one.

Ew, a thousand times over.

But remember - this is more important than honoring real American idols - soldiers, firefighters, and cops. Or it has more of what makes a Plugger a Plugger in 2009.

Yeah, brain bleach please?

Thursday, November 20, 2008

Friday November 21st

The comic:

You're a Plugger if you can't be bothered to use "a classic" for more than one day in a row, especially after explicitly promising us classics!

What the fudge monkeys is "cookie drool"?

WHAT?

And are the grandparents going through a divorce? What the hell is going on here?

The quote by itself is creepy - Pluggers are pedophiles, because only children eat cookies in Pluggerville. Or drool.

Wait. Couldn't he have been visiting his grandfather?

...they drool too.

I do love my grandparents, really!

Thursday, October 2, 2008

Thursday October 2nd

The comic:

What?

No, what?

Trophy wives marry for money, prestige! Though I guess being able to go to a movie is pretty damn special in Pluggerville.

Calling your wife a trophy wife isn't a compliment! Well, yes, you're saying she looks good, but that's it. Of course, this is Pluggerville.

This town is so wrong.

Wednesday September 3rd

The comic:

Perhaos, Gary Chenkin, you have heard this phrase from your grandkids or great-grandchildren: TMI.

It stands for "Too Much Information" and it means that nobody but your peers (old people who act old) and your doctor wants to hear about your digestive issues. Dig?

Saturday, August 30, 2008

Saturday August 30th

The comic:

Because they can't read the articles.

Now this is not sick because fish are animals and so are Pluggers, kind of.

Bears eat fishies in the wild, so it makes sense that the domesticated Plugger breed would do the same.

But the caption...

That's associated with Playboy and titty rags. So he's ogling his dinner?

And his wife is not happy about it. She could be upset because this is yet more time spent around fishing, even in the house. Or, and this is better, because I want it to be as twisted as possible, she knows he wishes she were a bass.
