Keys? (Saw that in MAD - old old story. Older than me.)
A watch?
I see young guys daily, er most weekdays, I go to college! And I don't think I've ever seen a guy with chains on his pants. Maybe some goths in high school?
I really don't understand this.

When a Plugger has one end of a chain attached to their leg, the other end is usually attached to a heavy iron ball.
That's because all Pluggers go through a phase of low-level deliquency.
