Pffft. In my family you take a six pack with you if you're making a "road trip" dropping your kids off at school. And who buys beer in a six pack? I didn't even know they come in anything smaller than a 12 pack now a days, unless its a fancy non-plugger microbrew which is probably what the comic mocking.
